Transformed to Love.

transform

We can change.  Our minds are capable of great transformation. There is scientific evidence that meditating on the Word of God can make us different.  Listen to the teaching of Dr. Caroline Leaf and let it transform your thinking.

We are created in the image of our Heavenly Father and his multi-faceted person.  When we received and acknowledged our citizenship in the Kingdom of God, becoming born-again, Holy Spirit filled believers, we gave up our “old selves”…which includes our old habits, our old mindsets and our old ways of dealing with our lives.  We are “become new” according to 2 Corinthians 5: 17:

“Therefore if any man (woman) be in Christ, he (she) is a new creature, old things are passed away; behold all things are become new.” (King James Version-italics by me)

What does this really mean?

It means we are now given great power to become the “Light of the World” by meditating, focusing our attention toward and receiving the identity God has always intended for each of us.  It means we no longer have to stumble in the darkness, afraid of the next trial, unable to cope with our situations, struggling to make sense of chaos.

It means…we can change our perspective about ourselves, our lives and how we relate to and with other people.  We can literally change the processes in our brains to reflect “the mind of Christ.”  In this new elevated way of thinking, receiving and living, we allow the Word of God, through reading and meditating on it, to change the very way we experience our life.  We become like Him.  We become love. We “enlarge our borders,” expand our capacity for reaching out to others, with hearts filled with compassion.  We become conduits for healing, vessels of God’s grace and mercy towards those around us.  We become the change in the atmosphere of wherever we are.

We become the “Sons (and Daughters) of God” revealed.

The world is groaning for us to come to its’ rescue.  We have what we need to do it. We must allow the Holy Spirit to develop transformed minds, elevate our thinking, and open our hearts to see and respond to the lost and dying.  It is what our brother, Jesus, was all about.  It is what our Heavenly Father is all about.  It is what our comforter, the Holy Spirit is all about.

So find the time, take the initiative, move into spirit moments where you can hear from the mouth of God, and see His intentions through His written and spoken Word. Accept the challenge to have your thoughts changed, your heart changed, your life changed into the beautiful identity that Abba (Heavenly Father) has for you.  It is the first step to becoming the change for others that Jesus commissioned us to do:

18 And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in[a] the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”
Matthew 28: 18-20 (KJV)

discipleship

True discipleship begins with relationship.  Our relationship with God. Our relationship with others.  Relationship begins with knowing who we are, through a transformed mind, and sharing that knowledge with those we are in relationship with.  So seek the truth in God, through the Holy Spirit and His Word and, “be transformed by the renewing of your mind.”

Be blessed…

…until next post. vw1
