…the Beauty of His Glory.

Sitting in my worship/prayer spot, I began to feel the weight of the presence of God upon my back. The warm sensation encircled me completely and I was overwhelmed with tears streaming down my face. I knew I was being graced by His magnificent touch and I was absolutely and completely humbled.

As I surrendered my heart to Him in that moment I heard a sound so clear but unlike anything I had heard before. It sounded like a waterfall but I could hear the words “I love you.” It was in that experience with the Holy Spirit of God that I relenquished my troubles and surrendered my fears and doubts. It was almost an uncontrollable response to such a powerful encounter with such majesty. I felt loved…truly loved. In that moment I was not afraid or inadequate or frail or defeated or insecure or alone or hopeless or whatever I had allowed the enemy to tell me I was.  In this beautiful moment with Abba Father, I was free.

I worship and pray with much more fervency and expectation that I AM will meet me in that space and speak His Will to me. And when I surrender my heart and my ways to Him, He ALWAYS embraces and empowers me to live for Him. He is our King, our life, our purpose and it’s our time with Him that transforms us into His sons and daughters.

We serve a great and mighty God, who loves us enough to come see about us and care about everything that concerns us. What an honor and a privilege to serve Him, with all we are.

This scripture in Revelation is one that reminds me of the truth of His magnificence and majesty:

“Then I turned to see the voice that was speaking to me, and on turning I saw seven golden lampstands, and in the midst of the lampstands one like a son of man, clothed with a long robe and with a golden sash around his chest. The hairs of his head were white, like white wool, like snow. His eyes were like a flame of fire, his feet were like burnished bronze, refined in a furnace, and his voice was like the roar of many waters. In his right hand he held seven stars, from his mouth came a sharp two-edged sword, and his face was like the sun shining in full strength. When I saw him, I fell at his feet as though dead. But he laid his right hand on me, saying, “Fear not, I am the first and the last,”
