How has a failure, or apparent failure, set you up for later success?

I started a consulting business in late 2019. It thrived for a few years and then it didn’t. I spiraled into self destructive thinking believing I was a complete failure. During this hard season, I discovered the salvation of asking for help. This simple and almost impossible thing to do was the one action I needed and surrendered to…and it made all the difference.

Lesson learned: Success is an enigma when viewed as a solo pursuit. It is only when we understand that success can be attempted through hard work, true commitment and dedication, but can only be achieved by acknowledging our need for others. Then we will succeed.
