Free…with rewards.

without faith

We like rewards.

When we work hard, win games, volunteer our efforts or invest in lucrative ventures…we want to be rewarded.

Likewise when we suffer hardship, we want to know reward is coming.  Deliverance is the reward for overcoming addiction. Peace is reward for resolving conflict. Restoration is the reward for dealing with difficulty.  And we want manifestation of our desire as our reward for hopeful prayers.

As Christians, we must learn that only one reward is truly gain…God.  Seeking God is the one thing we do that always presents us with a reward.

Seek God’s presence.  It is a practice that with time and commitment will yield a consistent reward.  At first, as we are immersed in our own perspective and mind-sets, seeking God will not be easy.  But do not give up.  Persevere. In time, as you continue, you will hear His voice speak to your heart.  You may still hear what He says and do things your own way…giving up our own ways to submit ourselves to Him is an exercise in patience and endurance.  If you continue to pursue God, your encounters with Him will bring His Word, in due season, to you and produce clarity, wisdom and incomprehensible peace.  Act on what He speaks to you. Obey His voice.  And you will see that the rewards will be greater than anything you could have imagined.

He rewards those of us who pursue him with a passion.  He pulls us into His presence and changes our very essence.  We know Him as we are known by Him.

His reward is with Him and the only way it can be obtained is our steadfast seeking Him.  In Isaiah 62:11 (NKJV), the scripture says:  rewards

Indeed the Lord has proclaimed
To the end of the world:
“Say to the daughter of Zion,
‘Surely your salvation is coming;
Behold, His reward is with Him,
And His work before Him.’”

Do not miss what He has for you.  “Seek Him while He may be found, call upon Him while He is near.”   (Isaiah 55:6 NKJV)

God is a rewarder of those that seek Him.  He will heal your sickness and disease.  He will fill your bank account with finances.  He will point you toward your purpose.  He will soothe your anxious heart.  He told Abram (before He was called Abraham), ““Do not be afraid, Abram. I am your shield, your exceedingly great reward.” (Genesis 15:1 NKJV)

God will shield you from your adversaries (illness, depression, unemployment, death, fear, and so on).
In your diligence in seeking His voice, His presence, His ways…you bring into your life the reward of knowing that He is all you need to live in victory and peace, lacking absolutely nothing.

Make the effort, everyday, to seek Him out and be rewarded by His presence which manifests His benefits.  And He will “repay your work, and a full reward be given you by the Lord God of Israel, under whose wings you have come for refuge.” (Ruth 2:12 NKJV)

Until Next Post…Blessings,
