Make a gratitude list instead of a list of resolutions.
Instead of making lists of things to give up or change during the start of the new year, let’s make a list of all of the things we are grateful to Abba, Our Father for.  Let’s thank Him for everything He has been to us, done for us and gives to us.

No thanks is too small. After we’ve done our New Year’s Gratitude list then we can focus on our resolutions…if they are even applicable after giving God our thanksgiving.

…no thanks is too small.
Some of the things we may want to change could turn out to be things we haven’t been grateful for and need to be reminded that they are blessings instead of things to change.  Just a thought.

The Word of God encourages us that in “everything, give thanks” (1 Thess. 5: 16).  Being grateful will free our minds and spirits to receive blessings, instructions and revelation from our Lord God.  In this state of being, we are able to experience the presence of Adonai, our Heavenly Father, in a greater, more powerful way.

Let’s begin this year in a spirit of gratitude…for ALL HE IS and ALL HE has done and is doing for us.

Happy New Year!  2017 is going to be great!
