What’s the Why?

Daily writing prompt
How do you stay motivated when learning something new?

When trying to get to the finish line of something new, I remind myself why I’m doing it. Staying motivated to learn something new can be rough, especially when you don’t have a solid “why.”

Before I start a new project, a new journey, or even a new WordPress blog post, I begin with the question, “why?” If you are doing anything for the wrong reasons, you’ll stop when it gets hard. For me, wrong reasons are anything that make me have to show up for clicks, or mask myself for acceptance…or just know that the thing I’m pursuing will not get me where I ultimately want to be.

Trying to learn new things has built-in stresses that come with growing and developing different ideas, habits and talents. Don’t make it worse by committing to something new that doesn’t make you better, stronger, wiser, or more positively impactful!

Just do you. You’re enough.

Blessings…vw1.
