What’s a conspiracy theory you actually find believable?

Okay, true confession…I love some Sci-Fi. Whether it’s current or vintage movies, video games (Halo…yes, please.), television shows (I’m a Trekkie), memorabilia…and wild, speciality t-shirts (with Godzilla, of course), I’m with it.

I love the campy, goofiness of vintage Sci-Fi and, the often amazing and sometimes terrifying effects of the present day Sci-Fi genre. Sci-Fi shows us what’s possible…corny, scary or far-fetched, many of us have a real fascination with those possibilities.

That said, when talk of the release of UFOs/UAPs and extraterrestrial life by the U.S. Government was announced, I was shocked and curious. And after reading some of the information and looking at way too many conspiracy theory creators online, I still don’t have definitive answers to whether we are alone in the universe, or not. But I am more inclined to believe that we may very well share the universe with other creation we have yet to discover.

Our God is a big God. And He has created expanses that we don’t even have the technology to help us explore yet.

Isaiah 42:5 (KJV) says of God’s creative power:

“Thus saith God the Lord, he that created the heavens, and stretched them out; he that spread forth the earth, and that which cometh out of it; he that giveth breath unto the people upon it, and spirit to them that walk therein…”

So, whether there are other life forms or other worlds in the universe that we have yet to encounter, one thing is true:

Our God is sovereign and can create whatever He desires. But He has declared that only we, us humans, have been created in His image and likeness (Genesis 1:26, 27). And that makes us divinely special on any world.
