What’s the bravest thing you’ve ever done when no one was watching?

Spiritual warfare isn’t for the faint-hearted.

Prayer closets can be war zones. This is the place where many of us battle for peace, healing, provision and protection. And not just for ourselves but for those we are called to pray for.

The bravest thing I do every day on behalf of myself and my loved ones is enter the Throne Room of God…knowing that the enemy, the devil, is watching and waiting for an opportunity to strike back. Victory has been promised but warfare is often necessary.

I take heart, and so should you, that God is on our side. We never go into battle alone. Never.

In the book of Isaiah, we are reassured of the protection of God against our enemies. It says:

“According to their deeds, accordingly he will repay, fury to his adversaries, recompence to his enemies; to the islands he will repay recompence. So shall they fear the name of the LORD from the west, and his glory from the rising of the sun. When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the LORD shall lift up a standard against him.”
‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭59‬:‭18‬-‭19‬ ‭KJV‬‬.

Even when I am not so brave in prayer, the Holy Spirit intercedes (Romans 8:26-28) on my behalf so that all things will work together for my good, according to God’s purpose. I am covered on all sides.
