How do you deal with uncertainty?
I love jazz. There is something poetic about following the rhythm’s notes into uncharted territory. No script…just improv. It’s a feeling of freedom that is hard to describe.

While I love the uncertainty of music, I am not so crazy about uncertainty in life’s issues.
My primary way of dealing with uncertainty is to identify what I am uncertain about and why I feel I can’t address it. But I don’t do this by myself.
I talk to the Lord about it. It may sound cliché, but I can give example after example of how my interaction with Him in prayer has resulted in direction and action taken; especially in situations that I didn’t have any answers for, on my own.

Don’t take my word for it. Proverbs 3: 5 and 6 states it plainly:
“5Trust in the Lord with all your heart,
and lean not on your own understanding;
6 in all your ways submit to him,
and he will make your paths straight.”
If you are uncertain about something, don’t let it create fear and anxiety inside your mind and heart…call on the Lord. Let Him direct your path.
