What is your favorite quote?

I have so many favorite quotes that I guess you wouldn’t consider them favorites. But I have a favorite person who has been an influence on me for several years.

Maya Angelou.

Her words could comfort and penetrate. Her writing was affirming and raw. I loved the way she told it like it was…but with dignity and grace.

She said so many notable things but the one that comes back to me over and over is:
